Hi! The news seems to get more depressig every day. Now it appears that a power plant in Connecticut has been damaged by a huge explosion. The explosion was heard many miles away and one of the main buildings has collapsed. Some have suggested that they were testing a gas pipeline when the explosion occurred but this is not confirmed. A hundred fire fighters were needed to bring the resulring fire
under control and now work has begun to find those trapped in the rubble. US media reports at least two people killed and many more injured but numbers are difficult to discover. It was thought that there were at least fifty people working on the site at the time. Pray for them and their families.
