Hi! Here's a story to warm your heart. A young American-Haitian studying in Haiti when the earthquake hit has been re-united with his mother thanks to the BBC's Creole language programme in Haiti. the young man contacted the programme daying that he was on the street as the place where he was studying had been destroyed. He gave a phone number for his mother in the States but it was the wrong
number. The programme broadcast an appeal for him to contact them again, which he did. His mother was contacted and was so relieved to learn that her son was alive. She had been trying to get to Haiti but couldn't. Hurray for the BBC.
